Redefining our tribal life

Letting go is painful. Trying to move forward with one foot living in this moment while the other foot is stuck in the past. Disagreements erupt when items have to be jettisoned. Learning compromise of emotional attachments (baggage) is an art in itself. For years we fed into our cultural desire to surround ourselves with worldly objects. Our tribal instincts are to curate treasures and surround ourselves with things. But we are transitioning away from collecting to creating memorable experiences.
